Taking the kids to another fete today. They love the traditional games. It means another weekend not selling at the car boot, but having fun is more important than constantly trying to flog stuff.
That's not til later so I've imposed a TV and screen ban on everyone, so we are going to try and achieve some stuff! The kids are currently playing outside so I can get on.
I've got a big collection of rocks/minerals which I've got shoved in a drawer as I couldn't decide what to do with them. I've also got a clear vase which I never use as it's too clunky. I've decided the rocks can go in this vase and be out on display. I'm hoping that will solve my problem! They are all small samples, so hopefully will make a nice colourful display. That will be a drawer clear, and hopefully a joy-sparking display on the windowsill!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've finally reached cashout on a survey site I've been wanting to ditch. I've cashed out my £5 amazon voucher and now unsubscribed :T :T :T
I've been trying to do that for ages. It's taken me a year to get a £5 voucher due to being constantly screened out. So not worth my time."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Good on both gaining a voucher and decluttering your survey 'collection' :T

The screen ban was more for DH than the kids :rotfl: :rotfl: I didn't tell him that though :cool:hope you enjoyed the fete hate that my kids no longer want to do these things too busy leaving for uni and playing playstation lol
It's lovely seeing them try these things, I'll enjoy it while I can! Little jwil would prefer to be on his tablet if he could, but he does like being out and about too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Up at 5am this morning to do my walk. Week 3 of couch to 5k completed. I think I'll repeat it once I've done this and actually try running. I did run for 3 mins this morning. I've just got to watch out for my knee.
1lb lost this week and 4cm off my stomach without really doing anything to my diet :T My hope is that small changes will eventually add up to big results.
Wow well done :T. Got up at 5am :eek::eek:

I'm a morning person, I get so much more done if I get up early.
I like doing my walk at that time, it's so fresh outside, and it's quiet so there's no one to witness my attempts at running:cool:
