Not sure if I did the right thing?

Options
I have had a couple of loans and a CC with LLoyds in the past, but can't remember of I paid any PPI on the account, so I sent off a SAR last week to get the information.

I got a call from Lloyds on Friday regarding my SAR. The lady asked me if there was any particular reason I made this request and I was honest and told her it was to check if I had any PPI on my previous credit with them.

She told me she could check the accounts and they would let me knowif I wanted and I agreed.

Does this mean I will still get the full information? Will she do a thorough check of my accounts, the same way I would have if I had all the information requested in an SAR.

I am wondering if I should have just said I would prefer all my information to still be sent through as per the SAR?

Whilst frontline staff tend to have access to less info, the complaints team should be able to find everything that a DSAR would find

Doing a DSAR is the long way.

Thankyou for the reassurance and the very fast response.

You do some wonderful work on these boards and reading all these threads gave me the confidence and knowledge to start chasing some things up myself rather than using any 3rd party company. :):):)
