Which small mid range phone?
I had an original moto g which was a nice size and had a rubber back so it was easy to grip. Unfortunately i damaged the charging portand sold it for spares.
I bought a moto e3 to replace it but found it too big.
I now have lg k3 which is a nice size but all plastic and not as good to grip plus the screen is poor and keyboard poor. Generally a cheap phone.
Im wonderin whether to buy an a grade moto g like i had before from ebay for £80 or get something newer.
I find the iphone 5 and 5c an ideal size as its narrow so easy to grip, but never had apple.
I also like the samsung a3.
Any recomendations for a small decent phone?

I don't think there's a huge choice, certainly not of decent phones. There's a few available like your LG K3 which are just about ok, which is exactly why I've stuck with my Moto G.
The Sony Z Compact range was good (now replaced by Sony Xperia X Compact?), along with the Apple iPhone SE, but they are both more premium with prices to match. The Samsung A3 is probably the best option but its a mid range phone unlike the other cheaper options, with a price heading up towards the cost of an iPhone or Sony...0
