Hey all,
Probably been mentioned before but I really am finding the retention team at Three hard work... It used to be a simple case of ringing them up and saying what you and then telling them what you were going to pay for it
Not anymore! My household has three contracts with them and although all are out of contract the offers coming through, even with the threat of leaving, requesting a PAC, appears to be falling on deaf ears. Has anyone here got any recent success stories they wish to share or any tips and advice?
Much more of this and I'm going to get one of these cashback deals from EE.
I've just to lower the cost on an ultd mins, text and 4GB data Advanced sim only plan (£12) only to be offered 12GB instead of 4 for £15. I think these offers are available to everyone anyway?
Thanks.

Three wouldn't budge when I called the over our two SIM only contracts, I was looking at one of their current offers, the sticking point was the 2000 free Three to Three mins which was offered previously when you had two SIM only contracts. Sadly that 2000 Three to Three add-on is no longer available or offered.
We will stick until the EU roaming changes arrive on 15th June, we make a lot of use of Three's "feel at home" in Spain.0 -
I found them a bit of a challenge but then strangely one day I must have got the right operator who did me a pretty good deal.
I was previously on a SIM only AYCE mins + texts and 4GB Data for £12/month
I was fairly happy but thought I'd ring them anyway and they wouldn't budge at all. Pointed out the fortune I'd saved on Feel at Home. It was a fair point so I left it.
Few weeks later I saw this deal via Topcashback: 600mins AYCE texts 8GB data £12/month
I rang three to see if I could get it. They refused saying it was a third party offer etc and not available on the three website. I had a big whinge and said its the same money as I was paying but double the data etc... still nothing they could do. Then pushed more and asked for my PAC. He started saying I wouldn't get a better deal elsewhere at which point I said I'm going to buy the deal via TCB... port out to giffgaff for a month then port back to the new contract. I pointed out it was a farcical situation for a "loyal" customer, he agreed.
He put me on hold and came back with 600mins AYCE texts and 12GB Data for £13. I was quite surprised by this and accepted as I think its a good deal, including feel at home and tethering which I will use.
Asked me not to tell anyone :rotfl:0
