Highview parking fine at netherfield neighbourhood centre

Hi all,
So just got this fine for £95 in the post and an offer to pay £55 within 14 days of the fine being served. It's got us going in at 11.18 and out at 13.19 so a duration of 2h and 1m. You get 90mins free parking, but we were in the car itself from 12.45 until leaving at 13.19, changed our parking space and sitting in the car unaware that we actually had to leave the car park before 90mins was up and not just being able to change space. The car park was quite busy and took us a good 15mins to find a space in the first place. I've been reading a lot of the threads and advice already nu the just needed some more about my actual situation. Thanks and hope I can appeal successfully with the advice I get!

the situation is largely irrelevant (it is what it is)

just read and follow the BPA advice in the NEWBIES sticky thread , not revealing the drivers details

its not a "fine" either (you made that up yourself)

Highview cannot "fine" anybody at all , but they can send you an invoice known as a pcn , which is what they have done

When it comes up to choose to name the driver or not, I shouldn't then. I was reading the threads and will go and speak to someone there first then send an appeal online. I also seen another's post about the place not having relevant specification about why they have the cameras there, but will have to check that myself. What happens if they don't accept the appeal will I have to pay the £95 charge?i Re read a lot of the newbie stuff, you probably get tired of repeating yourself :o

Absolutely not. Refer only to 'THE DRIVER' and 'THE KEEPER'

Of course not - have you really read the newbies sticky and other Highview threads? Highview will reject your first appeal then capitulate at POPLA.

Highview are easy to see off. Read some other threads. Here's one to get you started:

Thanks very much, still new to the site so anything u send will be helpful. I've sent an email to the owner of the land to complain first, then will be going to to the online appeal if I don't hear back from them soon. Appreciate all the information given!

I beat this lot last year at this location. Their entrance sign does not state that they are using ANPR for parking monitoring and it must. Take a picture, add this appeal point to the NEWBIES thread standard appeal, and demand a POPLA code.

They haven't done court yet and hate paying the POPLA fee.

not unless a judge said so, in court

until that happens , its a speculative invoice and there is no lawful reason for you to pay it unless you agree to it in its entirety

ie:- its a postal demand for money that you dont agree with , so unless there is a judgment by a judge saying how much you owe,and if it is owed etc, then until then its not worth the paper its been written on
