If this pratt Phonix is allowed to go round ruining threads with his Quidco links then I will not bother trying to source the very best offers

How am I ruiing this thread for msers? If I weren't posting quidco links these msers would be substantially out of pocket. There's nothing stopping them using your rpoints links.
then I will not bother trying to source the very best offers

please you're having a laugh!

This is a grabbit board. If there are any good offers they WILL get posted on here I guarantee it.

If you're concerned there won't why not visit hotukdeals just to make sure.

The reason I encourage you to visit hotukdeals is because they will allow you to post quidco links on those boards whereas if you post quidco links on rpoints, as have others you will be banned.

Isn't that because quidco & hotukdeals are run by the same persons, including Paul Nikkel?

Thanks.

Can the Moderator take this catfight over to another forum please? I keep thinking there's something more about Dell offers and all I see is more name calling.

Please can we return to the topic in discussion in the opening post, the Dell system. There's no need to take this thread into conflict with personal comments as it doesn't help anyone and simply ruins a thread for others. As always, if you feel that another poster has broken site rules, please inform abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. Thanks.

I also got a £319 price in the business brochure sent to me, however it included a Celeron Processor and only 80GB Hard Drive and not the Pentium 4 with the 160GB Hard Drive so is not really such a good buy as this one. (If I am wrong please post the evalue code of the offer that tou are referring to)

Dell Dimension 3000
Pentium 4 Processor
17" TFT Flatscreen Monitor
512MB Ram
160GB Hard Drive

Only £385

Enter code d-d05302b as your evalue code and reduce the warranty to

We got a specific fax advertising just one system - it had 160GB HDD and P4 2.8 GHz etc - I always make sure I compare systems like with like - and it was still only £319 inc VAT and delivery.

Unfortunately we threw away the fax as no one needed a new machine - so I cannot provide the evalue code.

The guy who gets the fax says he receives such offers fairly often so I will keep a eye on whatever comes his way.

THanks

None of those on offer at the Dell outlet have a 160gb hard disk. 250gb, 120gb or lower, but not 160gb...
Thanks to all who post constructively.

This offer if from the normal Dell site and not the outlet. So it is not a refurbished system.

Just a reminder of the original post as the thread has gone off topic
