As I said in the last rpoints post. Posting links to the referral board is just as bad as posting direct links to rpoints on these boards but it appears the moderators disagree.

Have you asked if these deceptive referrals are ok? because you will gain monetarily from them

Martin has said that it is ok to put a link to your own post in the Referrers board but you can't put the actual referral link anywhere else. His guide on this can be found here.

Personally I think it would be better if people always used the MSE rpoints link so MSE benefits as well as the purchaser but as it stands at the moment these types of links through to a post in the Referrers board are ok.

At work we got a fax from Dell advertising the same system for £319 inc VAT and del. Is there any consistency in their offers at all?? OR does it purely depend on the source of your advert i.e work fax, newspaper, website, brochure etc

I also got a £319 price in the business brochure sent to me, however it included a Celeron Processor and only 80GB Hard Drive and not the Pentium 4 with the 160GB Hard Drive so is not really such a good buy as this one. (If I am wrong please post the evalue code of the offer that tou are referring to)

    Dell Dimension 3000
    Pentium 4 Processor
    17" TFT Flatscreen Monitor
    512MB Ram
    160GB Hard Drive

    Only £385

Enter code d-d05302b as your evalue code and reduce the warranty to

Personally I think it would be better if people always used the MSE rpoints link so MSE benefits as well as the purchaser but as it stands at the moment these types of links through to a post in the Referrers board are ok.

Rpoints can afford to give money to mse because they take a large cut of the affiliate cash given to them. It would be unfair to ask quidco to give to mse because they're working on such low profit margins.

An mse user will save substantially more if they use quidco instead of using another cashback site that can afford to donate to mse, if they use a cashback site that contrinbutes to mse, mse will get a few pennies but the mse user will often be several pounds out of pocket, even double figures.

Besides the whole idea of an mse user using a cashback site that offers considerably less value for money to others goes against the whole ethos of this site.,,

as does rpoints users being allowed to cashin on their referrals through the deceptive referrals demonstrated in this thread.

Firstly go to quidco and log into your account to ensure you get a 4% rebate on purchases as opposed to the rpoints 2.5%.

Then click on the quidco dell link

    Once on the dell site,

click on home on your left hand side of the screen.

On the next page click on "shop by e-value code" this should be on the top right hand side of the page below "purchase assitance".

On the next page there are two boxes.

Enter 'd' in the first box and 'd05302b' in the second. Then click on the arrow.

On the next page go to the bit where it says "advanced service packs" and select.
Basic Lite 1Yr NBD + 30D on-line access to Multi media training [subtract £58.75]

then click on update at the bottom the page. This should bring the price down to the quoted total.

remember if you go through your www.quidco.com account you will recieve a 4% rebate off the purchase.
