How much water do you need? Won't most customers have a tap?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

As mentioned no sercie history is NOT a good idea.
Also service history will be at fleet mileage intervals, so would mean you will have a van that has had services carried out, but the BIGGER infrequent maintainence items may well have not been carried out.

    Good advice her

As for the work you are intending, window cleaning expects you to provide filtered water these days, plus the associated insurances, as does being a handyman, in addition to the road insurance.

Do look into all these things before commiting to a purchase.

Ahhh the filtered water and other H&S crap your going to have to look into.

I was speaking to a guy about it and he said the water is so pure it would kill you if you drank it... I was thinking its just distilled water isn't it??

Technically distilled water would dehydrate you as it does not contain the salts and minerals your body needs.

But I think we are getting off topic a bit here

The only small van that can carry a ton is the Vauxhall Combo but you will still need to ensure your ibc containing water is only half full as the rest of the equipment required will soon bring you to your limit

Be around 400 litre tank. Yes, occasionally use customer's water.

400L tank with the appropriate framework is probably over 1/2 a ton. Will that little van take 1/2 ton on the rear axle?

And thats without all the rest of your equipment.

Payload in a Dispatch/Expert/Scudo is only just shy of a ton. Mount the tank towards the front of the load bay, and it's evenly distributed between both axles.

400L of water is really just four large blokes.
