What was the 'reason' you gave on the ebay cancellation? Has it refunded?0

Can you confirm that when you cancelled the sale you also clicked further on through the messages to refund in full? if you haven't refunded then I think this might get nasty , but I can't see how the eBay system would have allowed a cancellation case to be opened unless the refund option in that case had also been applied.
