  • I just came on here to right a good review regarding this company. I do believe you have to have had genuine illness however but I did my holiday sickness claim through them and I can say they was extremely helpful and the solicitors firm who they use have also been most helpful. At no point have they asked me for any payment of any sort and as far as I can see so far everything has been done with the upmost professionalism which is hard to find these days in claims companies as to most you are just a number.

OP you are sick, and I dont think your hotel caused it
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

The Law Society will acknowledge the complaint but how far they take it is another matter. It may also be of interest to know that one of the two wonderful testimonials, the one that says "Harlington Law is the most valuable law firm we have ever dealt with" is run by two people by the name of Khan... but they might not be relatives of the other Mr Khan!

Probably a respected community leader, they all know him!

I seem to be getting a call a week from these scavengers. I usually ask the person how they can sleep at night knowing that are working for a shyster organization akin to bottom feeding scum. They still try to tell me I am entitled to a claim.

I have been ill on holiday and in fact on one holiday I spent one afternoon attached to a sequence of drips trying to get fluids back into me. However I cannot categorically say that was down to a change of diet OR food poisoning OR too much sun OR having swallowed water from the pool or ocean while snorkeling OR something I ate outside of the hotel OR anything else.

So I will continue to insult the bottom feeders making these phone calls and no I will not be making a claim.

What makes people even half-believe this rubbish? Is it sheer greed or something else?

I'd say most "upset stomachs " are caused by necking as much All inclusive beer and spirits as you can to get your moneys worth

in all the years I've been travelling I reckon the only time I've been genuinely ill is when I made the mistake of going to Hurghada , after we stayed they was a torrent of bad reviews for the resort saying the same thing

didn't cross my mind to sue though

I'm assuming the hotels will have to get each guest to scan a card each time they dine or order drinks while in the resort to show that some claimants were obviously stuffing their faces with food and beer while claiming to be desperately ill

There will soon be a company that will offer compensation to people who have been ripped off by companies who offer to help you get compensation for things that never actually happened.

    Moneysavingexpert.com? ;)

Look at all the frivolous PPI claims they encourage.

Aw, c'mon. You khan do better than this at righting a good review.

You failed to mention how you were only able to afford the holiday to which your "sickness claim" related thanks to the money you received from the PPI claim which this same law firm undertook for you last year after it had successfully settled your whiplash claim of the year before.
