Jon_c for the Argos thread. I went there on the off chance on Friday, before it got as hectic as it still is, and got a couple of things, a present for some dear friends of a vidoe camera, and a MD net player thingy that my wife spotted and passed as gadget-worthy and cheap.

Hurrah for this site, and all the hard work done by many of the people informing, searching and helping everyone.

Why has no-one mentioned Stumpy in the Argos thread? She regularly updates a list of all the Argos codes which certainly saves me from trailing through all 6 threads!

HERE is where it was first mentioned and HERE is the list itself.

Theres also a guide with clear instructions of how to find the number of your nearest store, how to use ring and reserve and how to see what an item looks like. People are still asking questions about all this even though it has been posted a few times!

She's even set up a page now (just found it) HERE that has codes, original and current prices and a 'click here' bit to see pictures of the item straight away. Seems like an awful lot of work has gone into it all and I'm the only (first?) to mention it

I haven't managed to get any bargains (yet....I say with hope ::)) but still think it's a great thing that has been set up and it's a shame it hasn't had a mention.
