Maybe, but you'll know the station breath test machine are an hour out during BST.

No I wouldn't as I'm seemingly not in the know like you. It might be helpful to the OP and others if you could say why you know such much. Always speaking in an authoritative manner without giving the context in how you know everything, whether you be a lawyer or a police officer. But then, I would doubt that every police station is run the same way.

No matter how many times you say it, he's not DM. The posting style is incorrect, as is the content.

DM is currently active on the forum, under a different username, but has so far not made himself obvious.

    I stand corrected. It's another returnee I think. F.W.

Well you claim to know more than I do.

I rarely speak with absolute certainty like you.

I would say that an incident recorded at 13:39 on a day in January that actually occurred at 12.39 on said January day would likely be down to the camera's time settings not having been changed back to GMT. There are similar situations reported on Pepipoo, so it's a very reasonable guess that that's what happened. Potentially it's down to a court to decide whether the OP's son has been disadvantaged by it, but since the OPs son knows what it's in reference to, I doubt it.

Earlier you seemed very certain I didn't know what I was talking about.

You also assumed I am someone you know.

Shows how much you don't know, but please feel free to keep guessing.

We bought him a 1.2 corsa as he never wanted to be labelled a boy racer.

    :rotfl:

Now that is the funniest thing all day.

We know that the incident was recorded at 13:39, but the OP didn't say it was exactly 12:39, only that it must have been around then because of the school lunch hours. I think the hour's discrepancy is a red herring.

Personally, I would go with what other people have said above. I have been a teenage boy, and I would bet my Dad (whose car I borrowed for all kinds of "study-related reasons" usually involving pubs or girls or both) would have said I was an excellent driver. He would think that, because that was what I let him see. The OP is to be commended for his high opinion of his son's integrity, but in reality I am thinking of a free period at school (Sixth Form) after the lunch break, a ride with a couple of chums, an unexpected detour to the kerb, and the involvement of the Police. The whole scenario sounds very familiar to this ex-teenager. If I am wrong, I apologise, but I don't think I am.

I reckon the lad (who is not a boy racer!) was texting at the time of the accident.
I passed my test in 1998 drove like a nutter in my dads car(Orion Ghia Injection), but only when he wasnt there.
Had a few accidents one on my motorbike mostly down to stupidity and showing off.
It's part of growing up OP you need a reality check about your son's behaviour.

What else do you assume the OP's son was doing? Texting is quite a specific thing to assume. Were you there?

Its not that specific....look around when you are out and about it is quite easy to spot and worryingly often too.
