Best time to buy dollars?

Hi all,

I'm travelling to the USA in 5 weeks and with the recent movement on the planned Brexit the exchange rate for dollars has very slightly risen, does anyone have any advise on whether it would be better to buy now or hold off in the hope that it may increase again?

Thanks so much in advance :)

How many dollars do you want for the trip?

Toss a coin, preferably US 25c.

The truth is that I could make lots of millions very, very quickly if I could foretell currency movements. The same is true for everyone else here.

So, I'd just concentrate on getting the best rate net of all charges.

Also, of course, you may not want that much in cash.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

If you mean to exchange that much cash, then instead of trying to speculate when to do this you could save up to £100 by obtaining suitable fee-free cards for travel, which in the USA can be used for virtually everything.
