PCN in England but from NI

Thanks for the details on the the last visit, as a newbie, I wouldn't have known to look at that.
You could also open up your own thread and get advice as each case turns on its individual facts. If you are in NI then you are relatively safe but your own thread would allow us to comment - helpfully. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thank you for the replies (even the rude, unhelpful one).
I've read all of the Newbie thread and dozens of posts and haven't seen anything similar to my own situation.
I want hijacking the post, I didn't post any details of what happened to me
What is unhelpful about directing you to the most effective, comprehensive and up to date resource on the entire WWW?
You situation is fully dealt with/explained right at the beginning of Post One - So I have to wonder if you did actually read it? In addition, the misplaced arrogance of many posters who come here thinking their case is somehow different or a bit special almost always means they make the reasonably straightforward task of getting-shot of a ticket much harder.
You clearly confirmed that you had read and understood the Forum policy on bumping/hijacks as part of your signup, so there is no room whatsoever to try denying this.0 -
I still don't think my situation is dealt with in the first post of the newbie thread but perhaps my reading of it is as someone with very little knowledge (lack of confidence rather than arrogance as you suggest) in this area. I haven't tried to deny agreeing to the forum rules. Like most people, I barely noticed I'd ticked the box to confirm so hands up to that.
If I was taking the time to reply to someone, I'd try to help in some way rather than be so negative. You could have made the points you wanted to make in a useful manner. Anyway, enough time wasted on you, there's more to life. Have a nice weekend!0 -
Following on from the previous advice, the registered keeper ignored the PCN, NTK and all the debt collectors letters. Thought everything had gone away until today when a Letter before Claim arrived.
Not sure what the next step is...have been looking at the responses to LBC but mosr seem to refer to previous requests for information from the Parking Company whereas we have been ignoring them.
Appreciate any advice.0 -
There are at least two very recent robust responses to an LBC linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
Are neither of those suitable - maybe with a little adaptation?
Edited to add:
I've just realised you are in NI.
Maybe someone will offer a better suggestion than mine.0 -

Hit them with the robust response to the LBC from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2.
Then wait to see if you get a MCOL Claim. With a court claim via the CCBC in Northampton, the CCBC will hopefully notice the NI address and reject it. If they don’t, you contest jurisdiction in your Acknowledgement of Service, which should put you on the road to killing this. We’ve never ever heard of a NI court case, and I’m pretty sure we’re not about to either!
I’m not the resident court expert here, but I think I’m on the right lines with this advice. If not, peer review will adjust as necessary. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thanks for the advice folks. Will follow up with a robust response to the LBC and see what happens.
Will keep you posted.0 -

The first post of the NEWBIES thread tells you exactly what to do if the keeper lives in NI or Scotland.
The NEWBIES is up to date as indicated by the "last edited" date at the bottom.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
