There's not quite so many as there first appears...

Toyota Aygo/Peugeot 108/Citroen C1 are all the same car, built in the same factory.
Same for VW Up!/Seat Mii/Skoda Citigo.
The Hyundai i10 and Kia Picanto are basically the same car mechanically and structurally, from companies in the same group.
Dacia are generation-old Renaults, while Nissan and Renault share most things - so a Micra and a Clio are closely related.

Of the cars i listed -
    • Renault Clio
    • Toyota Aygo
    • Hyundai i10
    • Peugeot 108
    • Skoda Rapid
    • Toyota Yaris
    • VW Up!

the only overlap would be with the Aygo and the 108. I listed the 108 as it appeared from a budgetary perspective. The others are not duplications of each other.

For the avoidance of doubt, Dacias are not generation old Renaults.

There's not much to grumble about the i10. Whatever you look at and
test-drive, try to include an i10 as well. Good mpg, small parking footprint, 5 seats, five-door, decent boot for a city car.

I believe the the Korean models will offer a nicer driving experience as they have a traditional slush auto box whereas (certainly the up/citigo) the others have a form of robotised manual box and can be an acquired taste.

My 70+ neighbour has an i10 and I think it's magnificent and the new ones look very smart, she is very happy and gets great service from the local dealer.
