Mobile Outlet and Mobile Matters UK (Vanilla Mob)

I have placed and order for a mobile with O2 through mobile outlet. I received confirmation email from them then another to say to call them regarding order. They wanted to confirm my address details.

I then got another email from Mobile Matters confirming the order and shortly after received another saying to call them regarding the order. They said the credit check for O2 had failed and that I should call back Mobile Outlet. I did this and they said that credit check is not completed and they will contact me when it is. I am very confused and a bit concerned.

Anyone have a similar experience?

  • All I can say there's one born every minute!! Read the relevant thread - it goes back long enough!! I'd call it a VERY lucky escape and get out quick!
  • Thanks pal. Just cancelled the order. Is their any companies that people can recommend to get a good cheap mobile contract.
