Help With Compensation.

Hi Guys

In December I had to send my phone to Carphone Warehouse as it kept on restarting. They said that my phone was under "Manufacturer" warranty and that they had to send it to their repair centre to fix.

After not having a phone for "2 weeks" I finally got a phone call to say that it's been repaired and that I can collect it. After a day with my device I noticed the problem was occurring again so I went back into store.

The manager of the store phoned up head office and asked if he could replace the phone now and then with the same model, however as they did not have it in stock I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to get stock.

It now been a fill month i've had my unfunctional phone and I went back into store to ask for any updates.

The manager phoned up Head Office again and told me and the manager of the store that it was out of stock and that i would be able to pick a phone for the value of my old device. I already had a model in mind and asked told the store manager what device i wanted.

The device i wanted was £150 cheaper than my original device, however head office refused to give the manager of the store permission to process the order and wanted to offer me a completely different model. (Which is against the contract clause)

In the end after much discussion, I finally got the device i wanted.

I then spoke to the manager of the store about compensation, he carried on talking to head office in which they offered me £10 compensation for a month without the phone

The contract is £45 a month and the manager of the store refused the £10 as it was not right. In the end I was offered £40 in which i agreed in. (This was in December) and was told I should have the money in my account by January.

In February, I checked my account to see that i still have not been sent the money so I emailed Carphone Warehouse to see if there was a problem.

They replied back within a few hours saying they have forgotten about it and that i will only be getting £15 of compensation as it’s on their system.

I was a bit angry at the time as I went a month without my phone and been waiting nearly 2 months for the money to be told that I will no0w only be getting £15.

I have tried many ways to contact them and explain to them that i should be getting £40 instead of £15 and i even sued Resolver but still did not get any luck.

What should I do?

any tips would be a huge help in this matter.
