£60 spent at the market this morning, BUT I've lost track of some little spends during the week. TBH it wasn't much, but I know I'm closer to NOT meeting my target than it appears. However, I'm pretty sure that in fact I did, just, provided I don't count in DS3's shopping that I bought when I took him back to uni. As he has to make 3 months-worth of loan last 6 months, until he starts to get his academic stipend, this is not begrudged; if I did count it, it would have taken me about £20 over.
I had a very good day at the Easter Day market, although I really hadn't wanted to do it, so having to spend some money on DS3's store-cupboard supplies is not a disaster. However the weather is looking grim for this weekend's event, so I may have to go without any further income for April. However the big summer car boot sales kick off next week & I hope to offload some excess stock at one of those, so hopefully I'll be able to make up any shortfall.Angie - GC Oct 25: £290.57/£500: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 28/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0 -
Pleased and surprised that I have come in under budget for April. I have easily enough food to go through to the first of May.
Unfortunately I have jiggered my back a bit, gardening. I am going to have to shop for next week today, as DH is here to help me. It feels really annoying; I really didn't want to start May early.
I have enjoyed keeping up with you all and will see you on the May thread.0 -
Morning All
Get well soon to those of you not feeling well - can play havoc with your budget
I'm going to declare Jan to April at £1000 of my annual £3250 budget as I do have £7 of that in my purse it will get spent later today on a few essentials, so on track and it also included my eldest home for part of Easter and Easter treats for all. See you on May thread. :jBlitz that mortgage

I'm declaring at £967.18 out of my £3000 budget. Well over on the monthly budget, but £145 of it was on bulk meat/fish and a very indulgent Easter. I'm quite happy with that.
However, that's all my underspends spent, so I will need to keep an eye on things in May.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
