After maligning my husband I'm the one that got a bit sidetracked in the sm today. I went to buy my son some small chocolate eggs for an egg hunt over Easter (better fun than one big one I think) and also came out with mushrooms, butternut squash, sugarsnaps and peppers.

£6.38/£100 until I find out how much hubby has spent!

Just a small spend of £4.01 on tomatoes and cucumber and bread - hens are laying so that a couple of £s saved from now on and plenty of rhubarb for desserts. I will need bead and spread this week but will be mainly eating out of the freezer.

I'm aiming for £250 this month! Usually I spend around £60-70 but since I have more free time and a second freezer I've been spending about £50 on average and I want to record it and do it properly to keep it at £250. We are a family of four.

This week I've just done shopping which came in at £49. Quite chuffed as I had a £10 voucher off if I spent a certain amount so I made it up to £50 (5 weeks = £250) with the voucher taken off and added extra (so not for this week but will be frozen) sausages, chicken, fish fillets, beef burgers, pizza and I still was under £50 limit! So fingers crossed next week will be a really cheap week and I'll smash the budget at this rate :)

Didn't have the planned meal tonight - instead had a family fave of sausage, cheesy mash and beans, as I had some sausages that needed to be used. Managed the planned nsd though.

Coming up to the end of term, I'm so tired that I don't know if I'll manage my roast tomorrow. I'll take the chicken breast out of the freezer, but don't know if I can cope with the faff of it all... Too tired!!

oh bah! i thought i'd put last weeks shop on here but looking back it seems I didn't and now i've lost the receipt.
I think it was about £25 so I've put that in my book.
spent ages doing an online shop at morries this afternoon but when I came to enter all the coupon codes I had it would only let me add one rather than the six I had! is this normal does anyone know or was I doing something wrong?
the upshot of it was was that I had to go to morries to get some shopping, cos I don't have time the next few days, and in my rush to get there I forgot the bleeping coupons! i'm so annoyed with myself but thankfully they have another week to run.
on the plus side I spent £10 less than my online shop was and only came to £27.64 so that's good.
