Hi,
Can you advise please as im easily confused and extremely tired!
14 days ago I parked in a disabled bay whilst taking my disabled mother shopping, long story, mother is a pain in the !!!! but wont loan me the paperwork to apply for a blue badge but wont walk far either, so im stuck.. but thats a different story.
I ended up getting an on screen ticket from my parking charge ltd, which I did not acknowledge. I have read threads about this, but I got a little lost in them. Ive noticed that they are not a BPA member, so do they have a leg to stand on?
I received a PCN letter today within 14 days of the parking ticket, again having hunted around and found -
NOT EARLIER than 28 days after the vehicle was parked (where a Notice to Driver was issued); or
NOT LATER than 14 days after the vehicle was parked (where a Notice to Driver was not issued)
again, a little confused as this says they cannot send this letter before 28days?
Can you advise please, Id happily trade my mother to them as payment for the ticket.

Better to search the forum to learn more than you will find out from one thread with snippets of answers:

This will be a long haul for you, possibly a small claim defence needed to see them off in the end - but don't pay these ex-clampers and don't join/sponsor their little game. Excel are a greedy firm who sue people but because they use BW Legal, they lose 99% of the time at hearings against defendants coached here.
Don't give your poor mother to these wolves, nor your/her money. Not even in jest. This industry is rotten to the core.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
