Flybe booking via avios

Wonder if anyone can help - I've booked flights from Manchester to Aberdeen in a few weeks with Flybe via Avios. A friend has booked direct and has received an email with changes to flight times - nothing too serious as only a minor change (5-10 minutes) however I have received nothing. Slightly concerned if there are any changes that I might not know about until too late (have train tickets booked to get to and from the Airport).
My question is - would I be told of any changes and if so, by which company? This is the first time I've used my avios points for a flight so a bit in the dark and cant see anything in the terms and conditions
