eBay Problem!

I bought a something from eBay (6th September) paid via cheque (£54) straight away...(Was cashed within 3 days)

They claim it would be sent out in 3 working days via Parcelforce48...But nothing so far

Sent 1st email on Friday 14th,(Received reply same day) was told it would be sent out on Monday 17th...

Sent 2nd email on Friday 21st, (Received reply next day) was told it would be sent out on Monday 24th...

Sent 3rd email yesterday, (Received reply this morning) told it was sent out 6 days ago and have I not received it?

I just sent a reply to that email, requesting Parcelforce Tracking Number...

What can I do, to get my money back???

Many Thanks

Hopefully it will arrive, otherwise YOYO - You're On Your Own - payment by cheque is now outside the scope of the eBay buyer protection scheme. You can raise a dispute, but the best you can hope for is a strike against the seller.

Did the seller offer Paypal as an option, and what was their feedback like? Any clues to suggest this could have been a scam from the outset?
<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->
  • Maybe try & get the sellers contact details & give them a phone call

Well if nothing turns up and the seller is un co operative you have their address so have all you need to go to small claims. A stern letter beforehand though explaining that you will not let this matter drop and will resort to a legal solution, might not be a bad thing.

Not through ebay no, but you can try the other options suggested like small claims etc.
