Ours went up 4% which seems on the low side compared to a lot. Ours is now £1100, but then again we are only a band A property.

My bill was emailed to me at the very start of March - just going to leave it until the end of March.

Bill has gone up by 3%. Band C - about a £40.00 rise. Discount for no mains sewage!!

The higher bands, E and above, have been hammered in Scotland to raise extra monies. It's not reasonable and shows what a mess the current banding system is (and the ability of the government to use it as a revenue generation scheme)

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
