Before I bought my N95, I done extensive research on it as there have been problems experienced with the phone - namely Battery Life. I've had the phone about 2weeks now and have been VERY happy with battery life and everything else with it.
Check out the following website which I found extremely useful when making my decision;
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/reviews/item/Nokia_N95-part_2_the_Navigator.php
It's got different features analysed in depth with an overall handset review.0 -
Same as amz84uk - there's a huge amount on feedback on the web but remember people are more likely to post if they're unhappy. My battery seems fine, it's an O2 phone and already has the latest firmware (which allegedly makes a difference to the battery), the video recorder is excellent... and the phone isn't as big and heavy as I thought it would be. Works on my wireless LAN at home too!0

I'm now on my 5th N95 since June this year. Its a rubbish phone, but a good phone too...
I like how easy it it is to use.
However I don't like how brittle it is, spesh when its a rather expensive phone!
Slider faulty.
Speaker broken
Life blog stopped working
Software issues
Charging issues
These are the faults that I've had since june over 4 handsets.
Handset number 5 seems ok. Tho I've only been on this handset for erm, 6 days...0 -
On a plus side though...
Its very lightweight (my fathrer in law has the N73 which is really heavy)
The camera is ace, brill, skill. Memory is ace and the sat nav is handy too!
It's a brilliant phone, just needed more thinking when it came to build quality!0 -
I agree with the above. I was going to buy an N95 outright, but after using it for a few days I decided not to. The camera is definitely a plus, and yes the Video recorder is better than on other models. The GPS is also OK, but honestly that is about it. I wouldn't pay the money for it, would rather buy a full out digital camera rather than buying the N95 just for the camera.
I believe the battery issues have been fixed now and you can always disable any functions not needed (vibrate, display brightness, 3G, Bluetooth, etc) as appropriate to give it a boost.
Build quality is a let down. Although the phone looks gorgeous, slide it a few times and you start to wonder if it might not come off the rails the next time. I also had quite a few times where I banged it whilst carrying in a pocket and had to check to assure myself it hadn't broken.
H.Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.0 -
one has to bear in mind that a new version will be released very soon.
the N95 8GB.
It has a bigger battery, 8GB of flash memory, bigger screen but no lens cover.0 -
