£7 for one year if you buy the activation code on Ebay, absolutely legit and not a problem. I can't remember who I bought it from but he was based in France and he sent the code within a few hours.:beer:
Yes but these Software Packages have server authentification and if they find out your using this they are sometimes programed to wreck the Registry of your computer in other words the dreaded C format:) scaremongering?

NOD32 is the one for me....Lightweight, high performance, excellent detection rate...what more can you want for £46 for 3 years....thats moneysaving by anyones standards....0

Hello I have just got rid of Norton Antivirus it had expired I was not too impressed ,any way tried out www.kaspersky.com free 30 day trial it costs 59-00 Usdollars for 1 year and 95-00 Usdollars for 2 years
Its got lots of awards,
My PC was riddled with viruses but I am wondering whether this is a sly marketing ploy on behalf Kaspersky Antivirus Security too make me think I NEED THIS THING:) any one else here thats sure there pc is clean interested in trialing this software to see if they are at deceptive sales techniques too boost sales?
Anti-Spyware is there anything better out there?

I think you will find that the main players at the momment for free anti virus software are still AVG home edition and avast. Did you get rid of the virusis that you had on your computer?If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.0

a comparison including results of a few of the AV solutions. As Avira is also free I've gone with that in recent years compared to the usual recomendations of AVG/Avast (the results in teh above link are quite telling), even Kaspersky falls a bit short of it0 -
NOD 32 is highly reputable, comes out very very well in tests and ratings and I think it quite interesting that on Kasperskys site they do not even include a comparison to NODF32 - can't compare methinks. :rotfl:0
