hello dear experts/friends
i had a homeserve driver knock my wall down by reversing very fast into it
however liability has been accepted they are refusing to replace the whole of the wall and only the damaged part, but my argument to them is that this will not match and will look odd to the rest of the wall do they have any obligation to match 100% or am i being unfair to ask for this all the walls was matching before the accident and that's what i want once its finished, do i stand a chance in getting them to do this please help?

Tell them to use matching bricks.0

I'm currently having part of a wall rebuilt as subsidence has caused the bricks and cement to part company.
The instruction to the builder from the insurance company it to salvage and re-use as many of the original bricks as possible, and to only purchase new ones which match when they have run out of bricks. They are also only rebuilding the damaged part, not the whole wall.
This is likely what your insurance company is doing too.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
