Help needed with Gladstones Parking Letter (Premier Park Ltd)

Good morning Guys! Hope all is well!
Some time last year I parked in my local casino - to quickly grab cash from the town (I am a member) but did not go inside.
A few weeks after this - through the post I received a letter from Premier Park ltd requesting payment. (I move around a lot with work so did not read any of these letters until February this year). At that stage I had a letter from Debt Recovery Plus. Upon further research I was advised to ignore this letter-which I did.
Yesterday I received a letter from Gladstone Solicitors saying I have to make payment within 14 days or possibly face legal action.
This has now left me worried. Is there anything I can do to avoid paying this and potentially avoid a court hearing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has really worried me and I am going away very soon so cannot afford to pay £150.00 for this within 14 days. I have had a look at the sticky thread on this forum and to be honest couldn't make sense of it.
Thank you.

If you're a member of the casino then your first port of call - at this late stage - is the casino manager. Get him/her to intervene and have the charge cancelled.
If you're a good (big money loser!!) customer, the casino won't want to lose you. You, of course, threaten (and carry out) that loss to them if they won't help. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you for your reply.
But I have a feeling they wont care the gentleman asked if I went in that day and I said no. They have not since replied.
I would say I am not a big money spender in their and tbh don't feel they will take my corner in this situation.
Am I screwed?
Kind regards,0 -
Just had an email from the casino and as I thought they don't care-and said I have to deal with the company. I have asked them to cancel my membership-considering I have spent £1000's there over the years (even though this isn't a great deal to them-it is to me).0

Your choices are to pay or defend. We do win Gladstones cases but a hearing is likely, to resolve this. No huge costs, even if you lose you might pay £150 (no CCJ if it is then finally paid, if a Judge so decides). But we win 99% of them...
Is the letter even a real LBCCC? Does it talk about payment going to a debt collector, like 'ZZPS'?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think I panicked and made a mistake I called them to set up a payment agreement for £150 in a couple of weeks.
I only just saw your reply. And think it may not be real now.
However looking at the letter for input at the link below.

Well, you have just about scuppered any chance we have to help.
1. Your opening post suggests that the Notice to Keeper may have been out of time thereby giving you, as keeper, every chance to win an appeal.
2. You have admitted driving (I think).
3. You have told them to set up a payment schedule.
4. You have admitted parking in the Casino car park without using the Casino.
Luckily, you have Coupon Mad advising you already. She is almost the patron saint to lost causes but I do fear that with the initial moves you have made, even she will find this one difficult.
So I am leaving her and other regulars who love a challenge to help further, except suggesting you take some readable photos of the signs and post them up here to see if we can pick any morsel of hope from the wording.0 -
Thank you for your reply. I was on my lunch break and paniced and thought I would get this over and done with.
But now having looked at the letter (link above) I feel I have done by. Even speaking to the woman on the phone I felt- I shouldnt have caved this easy

It's a Debt Recovery Plus letter, not a real solicitor's letter. Cancel the agreement, we assume you haven't signed anything? If she is sending something out to you, simply DO NOT SIGN IT. Tell them to ''do one'' if they ring back to chase it. This is a toothless debt collector and their job is to talk people into paying. You have been scammed. They do this every day, it astonishes me that people ring them...
Did you admit to being the driver as well?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
