    F = Fine

    P = Penalty

    this is neither , its an INVOICE , or Parking Charge Notice = PCN

    do not send the above letter to PE, its a COMPLAINT which goes to PALS and nobody else , so send that asap , to PALS

    check when 28 days is from the date of the PE postal notice

    wait until about day 25 (21st march) and send the BLUE TEXT appeal with the additional line or lines plus a scan of the BB IF you have not received a cancellation notice from PE

    the 14 days bribe period is irrelevant , you wish to pay nothing at all and so all this work is focussed on paying nothing

    PPCs are on very dodgy ground when they try to extort monies from hospital sites. The more noise you make, the more likely they are to back down.

    Write to PALS, the trust, your MP, "Pork bellies" Truss, Trading Standards, local papers and radio stations, Uncle Tom Cobley and all.
    You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Another aspect that rears its head regarding PPCs who use ANPR equipment in hospitals is that of patient confidentiality. If the driver and RK are different people and the former does not want the latter to know they had attended a hospital then that is a blatant breach of confidentiality.Both the hospital and PPC should be hauled over the coals for it.
    What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

    Hi

    Update, I received an email from PALS today saying that they are happy to cancel the PCN on this occasion and they will inform Parking Eye, who will send me a confirmation through the post.

    Hopefully this is the end of it.

    Many Thanks to everyone for your help

    Great stuff! Email PE to get confirmation if no letter arrives by next week:

    info@parkingeye.co.uk

    Never forget though, that the fault for allowing this predatory contract lies with the Hospital. Barnet know exactly what the Government policy says because they've had it pointed out to them for years; this should NOT be allowed. Barnet and the Royal Free know that.

    :)
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
