Help - Have I exhausted all claim routes?

Hi - I believe that I was mis-sold PPI with my mortgage by C&G (via Lloyds/TSB). I contacted Lloyds who said that, while they believed there were errors in the way the PPI was sold to me, that I did not have a claim.
I took my claim to the Ombudsman who stated "Lloyds did not do everything they should have to make sure the policy was right for me and didn't give clear information", however they said that "it was made clear that I did not have to buy the policy" and therefore they did not uphold my claim.
I contacted the Ombudsman adjudicator who upheld the original decision.
My question is - given they admit that there was some breakdown of communication when the policy was sold to me, do I have any last avenue to pursue a claim?
Many thanks
Paul

No.
Although....your post isn't clear.
The normal route is a FOS adjudicator, then if you disagree with the findings, you can ask for an Ombudsman to look at it.
Is that what happened?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -

Your complaint steps are:
Lender
FOS Adjudicator
FOS Ombudsman
If your rejection was by an adjudicator you have the right to refer up to the Ombudsman (though bear in mind they only overturn in about 10% of cases). If your complaint has already been through both stages of the FOS and they confirmed the policy was suitable and you were given the option to buy it or refuse it then after that you have to gamble your own money on a court case. Note that the burden of proof is higher than at the FOS which is consumer biased, could you afford to get a lawyer and pay court costs to prove on the balance of probabilities it was miss-sold?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

A mistake in one area does not automatically result in a complaint being upheld if it is not material to the complaint or suitability.
The fact you are posting in this section would suggest that you already know that most MPPI complaints do not succeed as that is frequently mentioned here. It is standalone monthly premium MPPI. That is how it should be set up. So, there is not a product failure. You havent stated what your complaint reasons were or what the reasons for the rejection were. So, its difficult to cover those.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
