Your fantasy garage

Hmm ... only 6 ?
The big house up the road has a twelve car garage (as shown in the piccies when it sold in 2014).

You can play "name that car" with the piccies (21 and 22) if you want ...
I think the £500K total limit is well and truly busted by that collection!0 -
It did used to be a nice little game waiting to see what would emerge every time those gates opened - particularly at weekends ... those cars were driven and didn't just sit in their cosy garage.I think the £500K total limit is well and truly busted by that collection!
Though it might not be so far over the limit as first appears - the E type, Pantera, Ferraris and Corvette push things up a long way, but the the Hawk police car and the 1930's taxi are a bit cheaper. And it's a mirror wall so there's not much else in there apart from the modern hatchback and the bike.0 -
1986 Opel Monza 3.0 E
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302
1969 Jaguar E type Series 2 FHC
1974 Ford Capri Mk.1 RS 3100
1984 Granada Ghia X Pack 2.8
1980 Mercedes 450 SLC
2008 Aston Martin DBS - I don't care about "New" but this must qualify. Anyway, it's MY fantasy!
I have worked on some of these and owned 3: the Capri RS3100 Mk1 (and also owned the Mk.2, but the Mk.1 was more fun!) the Monza and the Granada, of which I owned 2, one a Fastback 2-door coupe. I preferred the saloon.
The DBS is a dream of mine, I would probably be disappointed by the reality as I would struggle to get in and out of it with my spinal problems!
If I could only have one? - The Monza. Known in the UK as a Vauxhall Royale, not even half the car the Monza was. I loved that car, it was just so right, as a fast, comfortable luxury coupe. And a fraülein magnet in Germany! Ah, memories!I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Brand new cars, hmmm......
Morgan 3 wheeler
Dodge Challenger
An estate made by Lexus
Toyota Hilux
Suzuki Jimny
Nothing else I fancy really, I suppose I could have some electric nasty to make the numbers up, one of those BMWs James May had perhaps??I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

You can have a two-fer by buying the electric Morgan.... https://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/ev3-uk1909-selfridges-edition/
Do Lexus actually make any traditional estates? As opposed to the RX and NX which I'd call crossovers.
Going-off topic - the big family estate car of the 60s to 80s seems to have been supplanted by the MPV and the SUV, but oddly, I often prefer the estate styling. So if I have to keep within the rules of brand-new - Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake is £89K.I need to think of something new here...0 -

Good idea, but I want one with a v-twin stuck on the front, that looks like a Proper One

No idea, I just would buy cars with a VIN starting with J and Toyota have always made half decent cars, an astate would be useful to chuck a couple of 'bikes in the back.
I'd imagine I'd be picking pieces of Dodge & Morgan up from the road before too long anyway :rotfl:I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

1) 5.0L Range Rover Sport
2) 5.0 Ford Mustang
3) Honda NR750 - just for the exclusivity
Reckon that's my budget gone :-)0 -

Surely not, unless the NR750 has vastly increased in price since this one was on sale in 2012.

These although im flexing the 'new' rules a bit. So what, im rich enough
Ariel atom v8 - (not sure theyre still in production but about £120k
Caterham 620R - ~£50k
BMW i8 - ~£110k
The next 3 are custom builds. So id have an expedition camper probably a l200 with cab. Like this
Probably about £100k
Then id have a matching pair of locost's so i can race a friend around my estate (thats the walled gardens type of estate as opposed to the current council type of estate).
~£20k each
Total = ~£420k and ill add in the £100 for a decent pair of waterproofs.
If old cars where allowed the i8 would be dropped for the mx5 BBR turbo (the mk1 variation)
Id probably ditch the 2nd locost for an f40 as well.
ETA parenting fail.... it seems apparent theres no room for the 6 month old baby.... whoops.0 -
