Hmmm. If all new - I'd need longer to think but if classics are allowed....and using the original categories

    Sports Car: Morgan Aeromax

4x4: Range Rover Classic (RestoMod by Kingsley Cars http://www.kingsleycars.co.uk/for-sale/restored-land-rovers/range-rover-2-door-restomod_1.htm)

Convertible: MG Abingdon Edition (by Frontline Developments http://www.frontlinedevelopments.com/vehicle/mg-abingdon-edition/)

Luxury Car: Rolls Royce/Bentley Estate conversion (like this one http://www.djsmail.co.uk/sales-cars/product/1995RollsRoyceFlyingSpurEstate/ or if I can get it under the price limit - have one built on a more recent Mulsanne platform)

    Electric: BMW i8

City Car: Not sure I want one... Might have to look for a suitably wacky kei car to import.
I need to think of something new here...

Good to see that a few people have at least acknowledged that the 'rules' specified new cars, even if most of them have then ignored it. I was hoping to see what current models people would spend money on but it appears that for most of you there's far more interest in older cars - I can sort of understand that, which is why I said I'd need another garage for those choices, but if you want to actually be able to reliably get from A to B most of the older vehicles mentioned aren't really suitable options.

Maybe put a few quid aside for a calculator to allow you to stop buying once you've reached the limit of 6 cars... :rotfl:

Fair one. I didn't read 'new' as 'brand new'.

In which case my choices would be:

Range Rover SVAutobiography for the winter
    BMW i8 for cloudy days
    BAC Mono for track days
Mercedes AMG GT Roadster for sunny days (and the noise!)
BMW i3 for popping to the shops

I would have said a Zenos E10R would take the last spot, but they've gone bust - so I'll fill it with motorbikes instead.

    Hmm ... only 6 ?

The big house up the road has a twelve car garage (as shown in the piccies when it sold in 2014).

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-29379522.html

You can play "name that car" with the piccies (21 and 22) if you want ...
