I had a strange experience......

.....in the supermarket this morning.
I put my shopping in the trolley, went through the till and took out my wallet to pay. As I went to grab my credit card, I noticed a tatty old piece of paper in the back of the wallet. I pulled it out to see what it was. It had £20 written in the corner of it, so I gave it to the girl on the till. She took it from me and gave me a smaller piece of paper and some round, metal things in exchange. I was then allowed to walk away.
Weird.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

It's Little England Pounds - it's worth a little more than an a Euro or US Dollar. They chose to leave the world's biggest trading block, their best companies were bought over on the cheap and their 310 year long spouse is about to file for divorce. :rotfl:

Yes but, be honest, nobody likes her. We'll all be glad to see the back of her.

Her? Are you sure it's not a Him? I know it's easy to be confused with all that kilt wearing but I think of England as a Her, which would make the spouse a Him. Unless, of course, it's a same sex marriage, but did we have those 310 years ago?

Haven't Scots always considered themselves to be royally shafted?
