I'm more annoyed at my overseas trips costing 20%+ more due to the Little Englanders. I doubt that can be blamed on her. :p

  • 20% more? No sympathy I'm afraid. We can only go abroad during school holidays. If you are that passionate about leaving the UK, try giving the vote to the English. You will be out on your ear in no time.

Everyone votes depending on their own personal circumstances. The little Englanders as you call them, may be annoyed for example at being unable to secure a place at their local GP due to overcrowding. You may not care as it personally doesn't affect you. They certainly dont care that your trip may cost 20% more.

No one knows what will happen post Brexit. I wish people would stop having sly little digs though, the bitterness is almost embarrassing.

At least in the days of paper and metal people had more idea of how much money they actually had , saw it disappear in shops etc so realised how much they were spending, so there was less chance of a costly overdraft 'by mistake'.

The 20% premium was most visible booking trips this week but I've noticed it on many imported essentials too.

I'm not bitter, I feel sorry for the people who think services ( such as the NHS ) are going to improve as a result. Little Englander is an accurate description.

It's still available if you want to use it, I believe, Teddysmum.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.
