Everything you need to know is there. I have found HP to give good support to old products. The listed operating system is Vista, either 32 or 64 bit. If you can acess the Internet OK, HP will detect your laptop and you may be able to download all the drivers and HP Updates you need. Check the "Identify" - "Download" - "Install" features.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

I tried to copy and paste but as soon as I clicked on the link I get 'this site cannot be reached'.
Works fine here with !!!!! replaced with filefactory . com (no spaces).
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Nothing of what she needs is there.
  • Hi

I have not read all the replies but if the hard drive is the original one from 2008 then I would suggest that the slowness could be down to the drive failing

As an average a mechanical hard drive will last 5 years depending on usage and how it is treated.

If you don't need a lot of space then a 120Gb SSD is a good option
