Ebay advice please - suspect buyer lying

    You say you can't make me understand....as if you are somehow certainly right, and it is I that needs to understand you and not the other way around?

    Personally I stopped selling after too many item not received claims, tracking costs and Ebay fees just weren't worth the hassle.
    A few times I suspected the worst but can never prove it.


    The good news is however serial claimers can be banned now so personally I would let them take it all the way before refunding as it gets them on Ebays radar. One to many and they are gone for good.
  • Unfortunately bitter experience tells me that ebay don't look at their radar.

    Very, very occasionally someone will get thrown off but this seems to be happening less often lately. There are examples of buyers out there stealing away with absolute impunity, negging away without a consequence, who have been reported multiple times, and ebay do nothing.

    Fortunately, these buyers are in reality a tiny minority.
