Roper Rhodes mirror guarantee

We have a fancy mirror from this company, with fluorescent tubes and a demister pad. It has failed, and RR sent us a replacement transformer.
Unfortunately, it isn't suitable for a home repair as the original (defective) transformer is glued in with a sort of sticky pad. It would break the mirror if it was removed.
The mirror is less than two years old and very little used as it's in a spare bathroom. RR didn't say anything about replacing the whole mirror, or mention the guarantee cover. What are my rights please?

But you ask about your rights.
Did you buy direct from RR?
Your statutory rights are with whoever sold the thing to you.
Section 23 of The Consumer Right Act says (amongst other things):(2) If the consumer requires the trader to repair or replace the goods, the trader must —
(a) do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, and
(b) bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage).0
