Bingo! A free PPI claim & receiving over £12k now

This is a BIG THANK YOU to MSE where on reading many posts here on the site, I decided to use the FREE MSE PPI tool and just check to see if I was eligible for a refund on my PPI premiums over many years.
Well, got a letter from Barclaycard this morning and discover that I am due a refund of mis-sold PPI. A grand total of £12,779.69 where on reading their letter, I nearly choke on my cup of tea.
I only did the claim on the off chance (as it was free) and didn't expect anything to come of it as it was some 22 years ago I started with Barclaycard.
Thank you so much MSE. I'll push friends & family to do the same thing (just to check their records) and you never know, they may have a big surprise waiting for them!
