New Sky Deal on MSE - Not available
Comments

These offers are definitely down to MSE and Sky cannot deal directly with them.0
-
This is an MSE offer, which Sky can't deal directly with, so it's the former that you need to contact.0
-
What's the best way to contact MSE then, other than through this forum?0

Have e-mailed Sky at customerquestions@sky.uk and have received an automated reply saying that if you didn't receive your code e-mail there may have been an error and they'll reply with a code within 24 hours. So we'll wait and see.0

Good Evening
I had my code emailed to me last night for this Sky Broadband deal.
I tried to sign up tonight and was told the same as above that Sky Broadband was unavailable in my area. I communicated with Sky via online chat and was told that the whole of my area on a 01752 (Plymouth) dialling code could not get Sky Broadband due to low internet speed.
As above I have had Broadband at my address in Plymouth for over 10 years. I know the speed is slow but this has never caused any problems with my Broadband and Internet which has been supplied by many providers over the years including Sky about 6/7 years ago.
Saying that everyone on a 01752 dialling code cannot get Sky Broadband is an out and out lie. I know lots of people in Plymouth who have Sky Broadband and not just Fibre.
I think Sky have not realised how popular this deal will be and are trying to get out of it by saying there is no availability because they will be losing out on revenue. By persuading people to take up Fibre Broadband at a higher cost customers like myself will be dealt with unfairly if we take up Broadband with Sky. If I cannot get this deal I will not be become a Sky customer.0 -
Yes I've also been rejected because I live in Plymouth and on a 01752 dialling code.0

No doubt (like everywhere) there's more and more people living in that area, there is a limit to what the system can support without increasing the infrastructure. Perhaps they meant that rather than not being available they are not taking new subscribers at this time. If they did all it would do is make it even slower for everyone already on it.Yes I've also been rejected because I live in Plymouth and on a 01752 dialling code.
If it's always been slow then this would support that proposition.
That doesn't make it a scam.0 -
Sky sent me my code this morning and I've now placed my order so hopefully everything is now sorted.0

I have been with Sky for 18 years and had a discount of £10 on 40mb Fibre for 12 months that comes to an end this month and I can get 80mb Fibre cheaper than what my new price would be.
Wouldn't even match it - so off to EE0 -
Sky have now re-issued the initial email and code to those who may not have received it originally.0
