Hi! sorry I hope I am posting this in the correct place. I had delayed baggage on a SAA flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg. After submitting a claim to claim my expenses back that I was authorised, and after many complaints from myself that my claim wasn't being processed, I received a letter from SAA in South Africa, posted to my home address in London. They agreed to pay me £350 as settlement to my claim.
I received this letter in the start of November 2016. In the letter they said that their Plantation branch would send me a cheque. (I googled and it's a branch in USA). This confused me, as I made the claim through the South african office, and I live in England. When I emailed the USA branch, they said it was a mistake and that the London branch will send me a cheque. Still waiting and I have queried so many times.
They have agreed to pay me compensation in a wrtitten letter, however it seems I may never actually get the payment
Can anyone suggest any other actions I can take apart from emailing the customer service email address in all 3 countries?
Many thanks for any help!
