Dcbl certified bailiffs

Hi I went to court on the 21st Feb to defend parking fines from SIP. I had asked the judge to set it aside - she didnt - even though SIP have damaged my car and slashed the tyres - she said that my argument was not arguable in court and i have to pay up. So I get a letter from DCBL saying that I have to pay or make an arrangement to pay by the 3rd March. Today I ring them and they say that they are due to come to the property today to get the payment and if not they will sieze my assets.
Can they do this? I thought that I had 28 days to pay? They said they would need half the cash today as an arrangement and that my offer of £50 a month would not be satisfactory.
Please help.

What did you put as your defence? Yes they could come to collect as they are bailiffs and they are on a mission from the court.

I said that it was due to my fibromyalgia - I had no change to pay at the meter and when I got to work to pay by phone the system was down and then I forgot. When I remembered I bought a ticket but by then I had already been ticketed.

This all sounds a bit far-fetched to me. Perhaps the poster is a tad confused.

Slashing of tyres is a criminal offence, have you reported this to the police?

County court bailiffs gaining entry and seizing assets less than two weeks after a judgement? How does that happen?

I am not confused, yes I reported it ot the police and tried to get CCTV footage but it didnt cover the part of the carpark it was done in. I havent got the crime reference number anymore as I threw it away thinking it was all done and dusted with. The letter that I have from the dcbl says pay or make an arrangment to pay by today. So I called to make the arrangement - I had to do it by 5pm. They have told me that they will contact them and see if it is acceptable and will call me back by 4pm.

you mention fines, are SIP working for a council in a council car park?
Are you getting two parking events mixed up, one a council ticket, as the other a private parking charge?
you said you asked the judge to set it aside, was this in reference to a previous lost court case?

What exactly have you had from sip, and the courts?
if you have lost what was your defence?
if you lost you have 28 days to pay before a ccj default is logged, and a little longer before enforcement.

    again, what have you had?

Pity you did not come here for help first as you would have been given a defence that would probably have worked in your favour. Its dodgy to blame SIP for the tyres if there is no cctv or you did not see them do it, that in itself is not a defence for forgetting to pay. There are many ways of defeating them and people on here are poised to help where they can.

SIP are private firm on private land
No - I just got my wording mixed up.
I had a previous letter that said I could set it aside in november and my hearing was due for the 21st Feb.
    Defence as below.
if you lost you have 28 days to pay before a ccj default is logged, and a little longer before enforcment.
    Thats what I thought.
    again, what have you had?

Still confusing. Can you give a timeline of events by date?
