I threw away the parking ticket so I do not have proof but I will not give in. I will see them in court.
Just turn up, where you can give it a good old rant, sure the judge will be on your side against this terrible outfit, he'll no doubt award you punitive damages. Very easy - ask Barry Beavis! :)

Just too many who think an 'I'll see them in court' believe that it will be exactly as I describe. I wouldn't have thought irony would be lost on you TD.

Of course if you want to nursemaid him through the whole court process, I'd be more than happy to see him beat PE there. :)

And whatever help that poster gets ... it'll NOT be in this thread. ;)
  • I have appealed to POPLA....I hope they have more common sense. But it is still annoying that I have to go through this process. Luckily I have the time and intelligence to do this. I bet there are only young kids at Parking Eye getting a commission on successful charges, even if they are discounted to £20.00 !!

On 12th March I paid £3 for a 4 hour parking ticket, but left after 59 minutes. ParkingEye are saying I entered the wrong registration number on the ticket machine. I have asked proof of this "wrong" number but they have NOT replied with it. Instead they say my appeal has been rejected. I threw away the parking ticket so I do not have proof but I will not give in. I will see them in court.

Please tell us you used the forum templates in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread about winning at POPLA, and didn't write about the wrong VRN and 'no loss caused' or similar. POPLA have zero common sense and need a certain type of appeal.

Given you're still trying to hijack this thread, that's debatable. ;)

Apologies for picking up an old thread, but are these photos still accurate? I've received a PCN from PE even though my car spent less than 15 minutes in this car park as the occupants decided not to visit the attraction.

Send a PM to PalaceJim and ask him - although it is over a year since he last signed in to MSE forums.

You might want to take a copy of those pics anyway as they can disappear at any time.
  • Hi,
I also have received one of these letters! Did you pay? It makes me sick thinking about it! Is it worth a fight? I have already sent a letter to the land owners only to be ignored. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
