Which Type of LED Bulb?

I've seen a new selection of LED bulbs like this:

Does anyone know what they look like in the real world when on?

I'm looking to buy some candle bulbs, 8 of them actually, plus 5 other LED bulbs (the traditional style) for living room, bedrooms and landing areas.

Asda have the filament type ones for £3 per one, but £4 for ones like this:

Any advice or pointers would be great.

EDIT: To be fair Screwfix have a good pack of 5 for £10, so will probably grab some of these.

I have one like that, and in reality, they're functional rather than offering any aesthetic qualities. The "filaments" are too bright be effective as decorative lamps. If you want something like that, you'll really have to go for a proper filament lighbulb, which can be dimmed to a warm orange glow.

There are some really beautiful-looking LED filament bulbs here - https://well-lit.co.uk/store/led-filaments/ - but they're a bit pricey for me. Hopefully in a few years the price will come down....

I really like those "filament" bulbs for ceiling lights, they do throw out a lot of high quality light. Dimmable vertions are available.

My house is full of them, with most being the dimmable type. They cost a fair bit more if you don't want the white plastic bases, but they're pretty good. I could take a picture if you felt the need.

I really like the look of kinger101's link - might have to order some of those.

Like the look of those - didn't realize you could get warmer LEDs. If the electronics in them are decent, they're probably good value given they should last longer than filaments (and use less energy).

Just after some cheap and cheerful bulbs, not particularly that type unless it was cheaper than the second picture.

However, while the 60W (equiv) of those from Screwfix scares me a little for brightness, I have been looking on and off all afternoon and I can't beat that price by quite a long way.
They do have some 38W versions for £1 less per bulb so this may be an option.

I've got a house full of the LAP LED bulbs from screwfix, a mix of clear candle, traditional (frosted) GLS bulb style and 12v downlighters. I have clear candle bulbs in the living room where they're in wall fittings and they're reasonable enough.

Several of the candle bulbs have died (all replaced free by screwfix), and the GLS bulbs are all still working fine

I think the idea is that they're less directional. I've just bought some like these, and they put a bright spot of light on the carpet beneath the lamp, but leave the four corners of the ceiling in shadow.
