In that case, the likely options would be to get a remote key cloned by a local key place your local ford dealer.
It might be worth enquiring at Ford about the cost of a replacement non remote key - once you have that you can add remotes any time you want using the owner programming function.
Used remote keys are quite common on ebay for under a tenner. Buy one and a blank blade (also from ebay for a couple of quid), get the blank cut locally, and you have a new properly coded remote key for about £15.0
