  • your neighbour is doing you a favour, I always find feeding other peoples cats is a real drag to be honest!
Its better that she says no if she knows she cant realistically manage getting there before work, than say yes and not bother going in the mornings after all!
They will be fine, there are two of them, so long as they have food and water and somewhere to pee they will entertain themselves!
And dont forget to get your neighbour a nice little thank you pressie - a few chocs or a bottle of wine or something. That way she will be more likely to help you out in future!
  • i had planned on leaving my niehgbour a thank you card, bottle of wine and 2 pks of ciggies for when she came in the house to see to my cats the friday nite thought that would have been nice surprise for her, i will see if she mentions anything to me about cats if not leave them in the house with the timer food thingie.
    thanks everyone
  • £15 a visit? That's crazy!

Timed feeders are a good idea, and yeah your cats will be fine indoors for a couple of days, definitely leave the radio on - we do this if we shut them in the kitchen at night (only when they want to play ) and it does seem to keep them a bit quieter.

    Enjoy your weekend :)
  • hi do they not use a cat flap? when we go away for couple of days we have timed feeder and our cat comes and goes as he pleases.
