Large group meal ideas

Hi guys I am going to be having my family over at the weekend, and wondering what kind of things I can make. I have a slow cooker, was thinking maybe a curry, and a big bowl of rice. Any other ideas? I have recently moved into my own flat, so getting to grips with cooking, so something not too complicated, haha!! Thanks

I'd go with a chilli and then serve it with a bowl of rice, a plate of wraps, a bowl of salad (just chopped toms, cucumber and red onion), some guacamole, nachos and salsa... then just let everyone 'build their own'.

For pud, you could have fruit salad and ice cream or make a big apple crumble which is super easy and serve it with custard or ice cream.
