DomRaviolli, yeah, it looks that way.....but I feel very passionate about this, I can't give up without having started it;0
Although I won't give up my full time job yet......
I just needed some advice on how/where to market it :0)

I think Aquamania is spot on, and it depends on your location but teaching English might be the only way this works. Hopefully I'm wrong but I can't see any market for spanish, certainly nothing sustainable. You'd likely be better of offering private 1:1 tuition for this.

You could be struggling to market it because there is no market. Has there been much/any interest on your FB page? Do you have a community magazine you could advertise in? Don't advertise classes, you aren't there yet, more to collect interest to see if this is even worth pursuing.

I agree with previous posters - I looked in to doing Club Francais a few years ago, and decided it simply wasn't worth the amount of effort for the return I would get.

However - and I think this might work particularly well with Spanish - rather than focusing on kids, why don't you offer a 'family package' in the run up to the summer holidays? You teach the whole family enough Spanish to 'get by' during their Spanish holiday - everything from simple greetings to ordering food in a restaurant, making a complaint, asking directions etc. Spain is a major tourist destination for us Brits, so there might be some mileage in that. And you could do the teaching in their home, so no need for hiring rooms.

On the down side of course, everyone in Spain who works in the tourist industry already speaks English, so people may feel that they simply don't need to bother.

In my experience, Spanish is possibly one of the more useful languages to learn - there have been a number of times when I wished I had learned it at school instead of the languages that I did learn (which I've never really used).

Would it be worth doing some sort of 'fun' spainsh club so you are not just teaching children spainish? Like a drama group for example with Spainish mixed in ?

They could act out in Spainish what they are saying...I don't know. They are at school all week learning, the last thing they want to do is get sent to somewhere else where they are learning to speak a language, sat in a hall just seems a tad boring to me...you really do need something to make it appealing other then actually learning the language for this age group.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

Thank you all for your suggestions teaching families is another venue I could tap into, great idea. I know most of the people who works the Spanish tourist industry speak English but
I would try to make it really fun, with games, songs, role plays, crafts etc so the learning would be "hidden".
Thanks for the link Martin, I wasn't able to find it!
I also could teach one to one, and if anyone wants to learn the grammar side of it, I also can teach that.
I love teaching , I get a buz when people learn , I don't know how to explain it.... but at the same time I need to earn money from it
I haven't published my Facebook page yet ( I don't think)although is ready to go. I have never had an account with Facebook ( I know, I must be the only one on the planet) I need to just do it and get on with it

You'll be competing with free apps such as DuoLingo and paid apps such as Babbel. How exactly will you compete with them, given their low or free prices and their convenience?

I guess it'd be hard to compete with specialised apps, so if anything I'd encourage the use of them, ( we learn more if we use different ways).
I think , the social aspect of my venture, specially when in a group, is very important, I also can talk a little bit about the culture, customs, history, the cuisine, we could have Spanish tapas day from time to time etc
I have contacts over there so I could even offer exchanges
My main selling point is that I can adapt to the group/person I am teaching to.
