Boiler Advice!

Hello,
I need some nice impartial advice from the messageboarders of MSE!
We recently got a new boiler installed... a "Worcester Greenstar Junior 28i Combi Boiler"
Before it was installed we were having problems with the old boiler but the radiators were working fine. Now we have installed this new boiler a few weeks after its installation all the radiators have stopped working on the bottom floor.
The guy who installed it keeps on blaming the valves on the radiators saying they are "sticky" and blaming they are old one of the radiators we blames is no more than 6 years old. This all seems like a perfectly valid point, but he kept avoiding the fact that they worked fine before and now with the new boiler they have suddenly stopped working. I'm sure he is talking perfect sense, but i thought it safe to check with someone who may know a bit more than i do!
Can anyone help shed light on the situation or guide me to a website that will?

Do the radiators on the bottom floor have Thermostatic valves(TRVs)?0

Hi Cardew, thanks for your reply.
The newest radiator we have (which is one of the ones not working) does have a TRV namely a "Pegler's Terrier II TRV". Its another one of the valves that is "sticky". In the case of this one, he turned it right the way round so the whole thing is the wrong way round and faces the wall.
The older ones that also havent been working are Danfoss Thermostats.
A picture of one of them is here. Whatever they are, im pretty sure they're very old!

They are TRVs.
I am no plunber and there are far more qualified people than me on this forum.
But the TRV should not be on the wrong way round.
The TRV works by operating a thin plunger.
Simply unscrew the top of the TRV by turning the large knurled nut and remove it. See if the plunger is free by pressing it down against the spring pressure(it is very stiff and only a little travel.
Then see if the radiator gets warm(with the CH on of course)
Putting the top of the TRV on is easy when it is in the correct position you will feel it 'click' as a lug fits into a recess.0
