This is the photos of the sign they are using, as you can see they have used a flash to make sure it is visible, this is from their website

    http://prnt.sc/efwgk3

This is pretty much what the signs look like at night time, i did not find the one they took a photo of but this is the one within 2 metres of where i was parked, i took this one

    http://prnt.sc/efwgws

This one states the charge, but does not state that the offence was in a visitor bay, just that i parked without a permit

    http://prnt.sc/efwhcu

This is the photos from their website of my permit

In effect they have said i parked in a permit bay without a permit, so 3) and 4) invalidate their argument also, they have not clearly stated the offence and the same time taking a photo of my own proof.

Their own image of their own sign proves they are inadequate. Fuzzy and unreadable, and the £100 (if it is there at all) is completely unreadable.
In addition, the signs are forbidding.
As you have said, the contravention is disproved by their own pic of the permit, unless the type was changed by them and you are supposed to show a different permit. (Scammers sometimes change the style, colour, permit number etcetera and then ticket people the following day without giving them the new permit, or chance to display it.)
I married my cousin. I had to...

  • Thanks for all the help in regards to UKPC Joke.

The matter is now closed, it took 2 months almost for them to realise my case was legitimate and that they should back down, especially as i was ready to go an see a solicitor ad pursue them through the courts.

Similar cases to mine have ended up in court and the person trying to argue the ticket has been awarded damages, this i was intending to do and at my last checking, i estimated my costs at £500.

I think, in the end, they realised i was happy to go to court and was waiting for them to take me so i could submit a claim for expenses/ cost against them.

In the end, they accepted my final email to them and have apologised for causing me 'undue stress'.

They day they offered to reduce the charge to £15 if i paid immediately just made me more determined to go to court, either the charge is legitimate or it is not, if it is legitimate then it is £60 not something that can be bartered don to £15.

So this is my second success against this joke of a company, that last one in 2014, when i called them out about a car parked in my bay, they agreed to knock my door and advise me where i could park and not get a ticket and at the same time put a ticket on the offending car.

By the time i knew they had been, my car had the ticket and the offending car was there for 3 more days.

If they operated properly and with some level of common sense they wouldn't have to employ so many people, tickets issued correctly would not be opposed so much.

Still, with unemployment what it is, i keeps people in work and food on their table.

And, if you deal with it correctly, this can be a little bit of fun in a sometimes dull existence.

Thanks all for the replies and for the help and advice, another success for this post!!!

    Well done!

That is what comes of a management company contracting with rogue ex-clampers, found guilty of doctoring photos in 2015:

NEVER call them out, they will not help you, that's not their agenda...better to lobby the MA to kick them out.

  • So true, i called them out to get the person in my space ticketed and ended up getting a ticket myself.

Lets call it instant Karma and, slapped wrist, DONT DO IT AGAIN!!!
