Scam in the sense they are trying to 'sell' you a contract - it'll be some fly-by-night dodger offering a cashback deal. I am wary of these things on-line with the big companies where you can see the T's & C's up-front.
There are lots of these on the web and mentioned in this forum - just search for "cashback" and you'll be enlightened...
There is no way I'd deal with some clown that texts me out of the blue.
