TalkTalk vs Plusnet ?

@mxo, that's very interesting, thanks. I was on Plusnet (not fibre) at my previous property and didn't find it too bad at the time, but of course YMMV.
Could you please elaborate a bit more on your experience? What exactly was your problem? low speed? Dropped connection? Was the connection better with a different ISP (in the same property)?

With previous providers I was getting around 9Mb/s. with Plusnet it's around 4-5Mb/s and has even dropped to 1Mb/s. Every time I call Plusnet, they say I'm getting expected speeds! And they don't investigate further.

Plusnet also limit the upload speed to around 400kbps! You have to make a request with a very good reason to have that raised. I would not join such a poor service.
